Data Transmission

Every time you visit our website, data is transmitted from your device to our server.

This data includes the name of your ISP, what browser you use, your screen resolution, what site redirected you to ours and what subpages you viewed. Said data is commonly referred to as non-personal data. In addition, your device also communicates your IP address, which, in some cases, can be specific to the individual. We don’t use said data in a personal context, but to improve our services and make your visit even more personal.

Cookies

We desire to make our website as personal as possible and want you to receive interesting information and have a great customer experience. Thus, we sometimes use cookies. Cookies are small text files, which are generated by a server and saved on your device during your visit on lexibo.com.

We use session cookies, which are only valid for the duration of your visit, as well as cookies that are active longer. The latter is used especially to provide returning visitors a personal and pleasurable experience. Those cookies will provide you with information that’s especially relevant to your taste.

To achieve that goal, Lexi&Bö uses the following tracking solutions, which, through the help of cookies, generate a unique user ID, as well as a timestamp that saves the beginning and end of the current session as a file. Said ID helps us to analyze the user behavior.

Your browser can be set to inform you every time before a cookie is being set. You can also block any and all cookies in your browser settings. However, this may lead to restricted functionality. We therefore recommend to allow cookies on your device, when you visit Lexi&Bö’s web shop.

Please be advised that the content of your shopping cart will be saved in a cookie. Thus, you unfortunately won’t be able to use our online store without allowing cookies.

Analytical Tools

To offer you the best experience possible and optimise our website, some browsing data will be collected. This, however, happens anonymous. There will also be some profiles created, based on user synonyms. For this purpose, we may use cookies that make it possible to recognize a browser. User data won’t, without explicit consent of the visitor, be matched with the owner of a user account. Especially IP addresses will be masked, thus making a matching of profiles and IP addresses impossible.

We use tools from the following companies:

Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help the website analyse how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States . Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Social Media Plugins

Our website uses social plugins (“Plugins) from Facebook, Twitter and Google. These plugins connect to the provider. Partially, only browsing data will be submitted. If you actively use the plugins (i.e. through your Facebook profile) said information will be transmitted as well. You can learn more about the plugins we use in the following paragraphs.

Facebook Plugin

Our website uses so called Social Plugins („Plugins) of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are identifiable by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue background or a “thump-up” sign) or are identified by the phrase “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and the look of Facebook Social Plugins can be found here: developers.facebook.com/plugins. Purpose and detail of the data assessment and the further use and analysis of the Data through Facebook and your thus related personal rights and control functions to protect your private data can be found in the data disclaimer of Facebook: www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you are a member of Facebook and do not want Facebook to collect your data via our website and stores it in relationship to your Facebook member account, you will need to log out of Facebook prior to the visit of our website and you may also have to delete any related cookies stored locally by Facebook.

Furthermore it is possible to block the data generation of Facebook Plug-ins by using browser add-ons such as „Facebook Blocker“

There is no permanent connection between your Facebook account and Lexi&Bö.

Twitter Social Plugins

Our website uses social plugins (“Plugins”) of the social network twitter.com, which is run by Twitter, Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103 U.S.A. (“Twitter”). If you are visiting a site on this domain which contains such a plugin, your browser will establish a direct connection with Twitter’s servers. The plugin’s content will be transmitted directly from Twitter to your browser and integrated into the website by the very same. By integrating the plugin, Twitter receives notice that you have visited the respective page on our website. This means that said URL and your IP will be transmitted to a Twitter server and saved there. Normally, Twitter can’t match an IP to a person, which is also supported by the fact that your ISP provides you with a random IP. According to Twitter, said data is not given to third parties and anonymized after 9 months. This doesn’t apply if you’re visiting our website while being logged in to Twitter. In that case, Twitter can match your visit to your user account.

In case you interact with the plugins (i.e. push the ‘Twitter’ button or post a comment), said information is transmitted directly by your browser to Twitter and saved by the latter. Purpose and extent of data collection, as well as further use of your data by Twitter and the respective possible account settings, can be found in Twitter’s Privacy Police (https://twitter.com/privacy?lang=en).

If you, as Twitter user, don’t want Twitter to collect any data while visiting Lexi&Bö, please log out from your Twitter account before visiting our website.
