Streetwear for Scuba Divers
Lexi&Bö travelled as divers to the most beautiful spots on our planet. What they lacked were souvenirs. Clothing that expressed their lifestyle. They made a virtue of necessity and founded the young diving and lifestyle brand Lexi&Bö in 2014 - uncompromisingly 100% organic, vegan, fair and sustainable.
The idea
A great dive behind them, the sea in front of them, Lexi&Bö sat together with other divers and enjoyed the sunset. The conversations revolved around diving, lifestyle, how the diving scene defined itself. And about the one thing they were missing: cool styles that say, "I'm a diver. I love the sea." An idea was born.
From the idea to the T-shirt
If you like to travel, meet people and love the sea, you cannot turn a blind eye to the production of cheap clothing. Fast fashion is largely responsible for the pollution of the planet and the inhumane exploitation of workers. For Lexi&Bö, it was clear: we are going for fair trade clothing. The search for organic and recycled materials, trustworthy partners, creative designers and financing began.
100% organic, fair and sustainable
What does that mean in concrete terms? Lexi&Bö's organic cotton is not only organic, the pickers are also paid fairly. Synthetic fibres are made exclusively from recycled materials. Apart from cotton production, all processing steps take place in the EU. This guarantees fair wages, appropriate working conditions and the protection of workers' rights. At the same time, short distances save CO2. Shipping is exclusively climate-neutral and takes place in recycled packaging. The high quality of the products ensures durability and thus sustainability.
The people behind the idea
Transparency and trust beat any seal. From the very beginning, it was important for Lexi&Bö to gain insight into all stages of production. No one should be exploited for Lexi&Bö! This starts with the cotton farmer and ends with the parcel delivery person. Everyone who works on the Lexi&Bö vision has a face and receives the same appreciation.
