About Lexi&Bö — Scuba Clothing for Life Beyond the Dive

It was one of those perfect days: a great dive behind us, the sea sparkling in front of us, and we were sitting with other divers watching the sunset. We talked about the world of diving, the lifestyle and how the dive community expresses itself. But something was missing — cool, stylish clothing that clearly says: “I am a diver. I love the ocean.” That was the moment the idea was born.

But a vision alone was not enough. Travelling the world, meeting new people and appreciating the beauty of the ocean comes with a responsibility to act with care. For Lexi&Bö, one thing was clear: our clothing should respect both nature and people. The mission was set — sustainable, fairly made clothing. The search began for organic and recycled materials, trusted partners, creative designers and the funding needed to turn the idea into reality.

Transparency and fairness are values we put into practice. From the very beginning, it has been important to us at Lexi&Bö to understand every part of the production chain — from the cotton field to delivery. Everyone who contributes to our products brings their skill and passion to our vision. Every person deserves respect and recognition, because there are real people with names and faces behind every product.

What does that mean in practice? Our products are made from 100% organic cotton, and our production partners in Portugal are GOTS certified. Lexi&Bö itself does not currently hold a GOTS brand certification. Where synthetic fibres are used, they come exclusively from recycled materials. Production in Europe supports fair wages and labour rights, while shorter routes reduce transport emissions. We also ship in recycled packaging. High-quality workmanship helps our products last, because true sustainability begins with quality.
